Seats
The majority of 3 wheel double buggies start life as single pushchairs, although some can convert to take the seat of a second person or carrycot with adapters (these are usually more common in tandem buggies). Certain models let you add an additional board for older children who are able to walk, but require assistance.

Suspension
The quality of the suspension in a triple buggy is crucial to how it will be easy for you and your baby/s to push. It is crucial to have a smooth ride as babies can feel every bump in the road. This is particularly true if you are driving on rough terrain such as grass or unpaved roads. Some models also come with locking front wheels to assist in maneuvering and navigating obstacles like curbs.
Certain models come with air-filled tyres which are ideal for all-terrain rides, but they are prone to punctures. Make sure you have an extra set of tyres in your trunk. Some models have gel-filled or foam-filled tyres that are designed to cushion bumps. They can be less likely to puncture, but they could be uncomfortable for your child should you decide to jog.

Folding
A three-wheel double buggy could be folded neatly to be stored. There are options that fold flat and stand up (as if they're in a pushchair position) as well as ones that pop out to reveal an umbrella-like fold that has the option of a brake operated by hand. The more wheels a buggy has, in general the more easy it will be to maneuver through rough terrain. This is especially true if your wheels are larger than typical size. You will have more stability and it will be less likely that you be forced to tip over or flip your child.
